Ticket Info

Tickets to all screenings are available at the door for as long as seating is available. Advance ticket purchase is strongly encouraged, as films do sell out. Tickets to screenings can be purchased in advance, either online at pvjff.org, in person at the Springfield JCC, or by phone. Note that some screenings require separate ticketing. See details below.

Screenings at Amherst College, Elms College, Mount Holyoke College, and UMass Amherst are free for students, faculty, and staff of the host college. Valid ID is required.

Purchasing Tickets

sb keeper 02The Keeper At PVJFF.com: From the Film Lineup page, click on the individual film that you are interested in. Then click the green "Buy Tickets" button at the bottom of that page. All fees are included in the ticket price. Online purchasing closes at 12:00 PM on the day of a screening.

By Phone: Order tickets by phone at (413) 739-4715 with a credit card. Tickets can be picked up at the door ("will call").

In Person: Buy tickets in person at the Springfield JCC with cash, check or credit card.

At the Door: Tickets can be purchased at the door starting 30 minutes before the screening, for as long as seating is available. Cash and checks are accepted for PVJFF screenings. Credit cards may be used at Amherst Cinema and Greenfield Garden Cinemas.

Tickets available at the door. Pre-purchased Pothole Pictures tickets are accepted. Purchase advance tickets at the rate of 5 for $20 by sending a check to Pothole Pictures, P.O. Box 368, Shelburne Falls, MA 01370.

These screenings are FREE for everyone. No tickets are necessary. Admission is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Seating

As seating may be limited, guests are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the film program. Reserved seating is available for purchase at all screenings, except for Amherst Cinema, Greenfield Garden Cinemas, and Pothole Pictures.

Refunds

Tickets are final sale and non-exchangeable. Refunds are available only for cancelled or rescheduled programs. PVJFF is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Due to circumstances beyond the PVJFF’s control, film programs are subject to change without prior notice.

Films are not rated. Parental discretion is strongly advised. Films designated “mature audiences” may contain explicit language, sexual content and/or violence. For more information about screenings, call the PVJFF Director at (413) 739-4715.

Directions/Parking: When the banks are closed, Bank of America and the PeoplesBank lots located on the west side of the theater allow free parking for Amherst Cinema patrons. Please do not park in bank lots during banking hours. Parking is also available in the town lot to the west of the cinema, in the lot behind CVS and in the town parking garage, accessible from Kellogg Avenue and Main Street.

Directions/Parking: Stirn Auditorium is adjacent to the Mead Art Museum. After 4:30 PM, visitors may park in any space on campus. Prior to 4:30 PM, parking is available in the Alumni Lot and the Tennis Court Lot.

Please allow extra time for parking, due to ongoing construction on the Amherst College campus.

From Route 202 (Holyoke/South Hadley), take the Route 116 North exit. The college is approximately two miles north of the exit. At the north end of the campus, turn right onto Church Street.
