A brave, resourceful young girl leads a small band of orphans through Nazi-occupied France in Fanny’s Journey, a coming-of-age film bristling with suspense and poignancy. Inspired by a true story, this historical drama centers on a group of 11 children whose fate is entrusted to 13-year-old Fanny. Together they trek fearlessly through the European countryside on a perilous mission to reach the Swiss border, with only their wits and solidarity to guide them.  Based on an autobiographical novel by Fanny Ben-Ami.
